The Office of the Campus Counsel provides legal advice to the Chancellor and other academic and business administrators at UCSD. Services include negotiating and documenting affiliation and other contractual relationships, claims and risk management activities, development and application of campus policies and procedures as they pertain to faculty, staff and students, legal compliance in all areas of UCSD's operations, coordination with outside counsel involving civil litigation against the campus, assistance with administrative proceedings and the administration of various academic processes.
