As the Associate Chancellor and Chief Diversity Officer (CDO), Sandra Daley will work half-time in the Chancellor's Office and will be responsible for coordinating efforts and working with colleagues university-wide to enhance UCSD's overall diversity. Doctor Daley will be the primary liaison between the University and the individual communities to increase communication and collaboration as it relates to diversity issues.

As Director of Campus Diversity Initiatives, Glynda Davis supports Associate Chancellor / Chief Diversity Officer Sandra Daley in the Chancellor's efforts to promote diversity at UC San Diego. She collaborates with faculty, staff and students in initiatives to assist the University in attaining its diversity aspirations.  Ms. Davis represents the Chancellor's Office and provides staffing for the three Chancellor's Advisory Committees: the Diversity Council, the Committee on the Status of Women (CSW), and the Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Issues (GISOI) Committee.

The Special Projects Manager reports to the Associate Chancellor/Chief of Staff and provides counsel and day-to-day administrative/fiscal support in the development and overall management of the office for the Associate Chancellor/Chief Diversity Officer. Scope of responsibility also includes planning and coordination of special projects and events sponsored by the Chancellor’s Office.
